Auch Rock 'n' Roll-Sammler waren empfänglich für Slims Originale und etliche ähnlich knackige, hämmernde Rocker auf dem Excello-Label. Der weiße Blues-Boom von Mitte bis Ende der sechziger Jahre öffnete für Slim dann viele Türen und - inmitten der Soul- und Psychedelic-Trends - fand er weiterhin Zeit für Rock 'n' Roll. - Diese Zusammenstellung bündelt alle Phasen aus Slims 13-jähriger Plattenkarriere.
