(2010 'Blue Rock'It') (42:05/10) Sieben satte Jahre sind seit Chris Cains letztem Album vergangen. Viel hat sich verändert seitdem, Cains grundsätzliche Einstellung jedoch nicht. Und das ist gut so. Er spielt nach wie vor extrem kraftvoll, dynamisch und entwickelt eine für seine bescheidene Körpergröße extremes Stimmvolumen. Seine druckvolle und zugleich ist stark von Robben Ford, aber auch Albert oder B.B. King inspiriert. Seine komplett eigenen Songs klingen zeitgemäß. Gute Bläserarrangements. Exzellentes neues Album!

It has been seven years since Chris Cain's last album release. Things have changed. But Chris Cain's position has remained the same. Fair enough. I can still hear his powerful and dynamic guitar style, and the huge voice volume. His style is reminding me of Robben Ford's, and there are nods to B.B. and Albert King. He wrote all the tunes, contemporary songwriting. Conclusion: an excellent new album we all have been waiting for.
