Son Seals, who died in 2004, was born as the son of a juke joint owner in Arkansas. He started to play drums, and finally worked behaind such greats as Earl Hooker and Albert King. When he switsched to the guitar, he soon developed his own trademark sound. Latest with the release 'Midnight Sun' in 1977 on Alligator, he established himself as one of the leading forces in contemporary blues.
