Seit Ende der 90er Jahre verfolgt Al seine eigene Karriere als Sänger und gelegentlicher Flügelhorn(!)-Spieler. Diese CD liefert stilistisch eine große Bandbreite, die auch wohlwollend nicht unter dem Etikett 'Blues' zusammengefasst werden kann. Blues, Soul, Balladen, etwas jazzige Töne, Sixties und Country-Harmomien wechseln sich ab. Im Vordergrund stehen Als Stimme und Dukes Gitarre.

Al's fifth album recorded at Duke Robillard's studio. Al and Duke have been collaborating on and off for the past 35 years. Together, they wrote many tunes the Duke recorded. This set features Al's vocals, and Duke's guitar. The disc presents a large variety of styles, from blues, sould and ballads to sixties style, jazzy spots, and even country harmonies.
