(1969 'CBS Records') (76:40/12) An einem Abend im Jahr 1968 wurde ein Konzert im bekannten 'Fillmore West' in San Francisco mitgeschnitten; daraus resultierten zwei Alben, 'Live At Bill Graham's Fillmore West' von Bloomfield & Gravenites sowie 'My Labors', Nick Gravenites Soloalbum. Diese CD liefert beide Alben, ein Song von 'My Labors' fehlt aus Längengründen (dafür kommt noch ein Bonus aus der Live-2-LP von Bloomfield & Kooper hinzu). Interessant sind diese Aufnahmen vor allem wegen Bloomfields teils sensationell-intensiven Gitarrensoli, so wie bei dem 15-minütigen 'Blues On A Westside', einem unglaublichen Slowblues. Nicht alles ist Gold; doch insgesamt eine durchaus hörenswerte CD und ein zeitgeschichtliches Dokument.

One evening in 1968, a show was recorded 'Live At Bill Graham's Fillmore West' auditorium, in San Francisco. Two LP releases resulted from this event, the aforementioned LP feat. Bloomfield and Gravenites, and the latter's solo album 'My Labors' (both are here, minus one track form 'My Labors', due to length problems). Bloomfield's in great shape; his intensity is unbelievable. Just listen to his guitar solos in the 15-minute-slowblues 'Blues On A Westside'. Not everything is gold that shines, but all in all this is a pretty enjoyable album and a piece of Westcoast blues and rock history.
