Shrimp Boats A-Comin'/There's Dancin' Tonight
Jerry Jackson was an R&B-pop singer in New York in the early 1960s, and his New York ska version of 'Shrimp Boats' has become a cult club favorite in Europe. Elvis fans will be interested in Jerry Jackson's original version of 'It Hurts Me', and Four Seasons fans will find several little-heard songs by Crewe and Gaudio. The 24 cuts on this set include all of Jackson's recordings for Kapp and Columbia between 1961 and 1964. Other titles include 'Wide Awake In A Dream', 'Se Habla Espanol', 'Time' (covered by Craig Douglas), and 'Hey Sugarfoot'.
