Ed Ward began his music-writing career in 1965. He has written for Crawdaddy!, Rolling Stone, and Creem magazines, the Austin American-Statesman and Austin Chronicle. Today, he's living in Montpellier, France.

On the occasion of Bear Family's retrospective, 'Takin' Care Of Business', Ed Ward produced a feature on Freddie King, one of the most influential electric blues guitar players of all times.
