In den berühmten Pacifica Studios von Glenn Nishida aufgenommenes, ruppig und roh klingendes Album, druck- und kraftvoller nahezu psychedelischer Blues, angeführt von Mastros Harmonica und einer treibenden Rhythmusgitarre. Mastro ist kein weltbewegender Sänger, macht dies aber durch bedingungslosen Einsatz wett und erinnert stellenweise eher an einen Punk- denn an einen Bluesmusiker. Diese Band ist alles, nur nicht 'retro'. Außergewöhnlich.

Husky band from the L.A. region. Great recordings with a live feel made at the famous Pacifica Studios, recorded and mixed by Glenn Nishida. This album comes across very powerful, simple and raw. Led by Mastro's energetic harp playing and Freeman's strong rhythm guitar, this recording possesses an almost psychedelic component. Mastro's not the greatest singer on this planet. But he sings with passion and a lot of enthusiasm. This band is great and all but retro! Exceptional.
