‘Some Kinda Fun’, ‘Chiquita Mia’, und der rauhe Song
‘Rockin’ Blues’, plus 3 bislang unveröffentlichte Aufnahmen
und ein Song, ‘In An English Towne’, der von Ritchie Valens

so-called Chicano rocker Chris Montez. “Hey baby, won’t
you take a chance...?” one of the most famous opening
lines in the history of Rock’n’Roll songs. Chris Montez, born
Ezekiel Christopher Montanez in Los Angeles on January 17,
1943 scored a real smash in 1962 with ‘Let’s Dance’. A
chartbreaker on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. And again
in 1972 and 1979 after its reissue! Also included are the
hits ‘Some Kinda Fun’, ‘Chiquita Mia’, and the raw ‘Rockin’
Blues’, plus 3 previously unreleased tracks and a song, ‘In
