1938, is one of the original rockabilly cats who recorded for the
legendary Sun Records label in the 1950’s. The revival of the
rockabilly genre brought him back to the roots of his style, and
since1984hehastouredEuropeandJapanaswellasperformed
in the U.S.A. His latest two albums, Hayden Thompson (2007)
and Standing Tall (2010), both released on the Finnish label
Bluelight, are considered among his best recorded work.
