This is a reproduction of a 10inch Julia Lee album originally released in New Zealand in 1950 by Capitol Records. It's
hard to believe but this album is the best argument that American music was highly evaluated even on the far away
islands in the Tasmanian Sea.

It was the year 1950, only five years after World War II came to an end, and the world was still busy with its
reconstruction and development. America was not destroyed by war, except for Pearl Harbor, and was able to be fully
concentrate on the production of entertainment. American soldiers had bases all over the world, not only in occupied
countries.
