It's not clear as glass when exactly Capitol Australia issued the original 'Bluejean Bop' ten inch album. Obviously, Gene's 45s sold
wellenough.Intheviewofthecomingtourtheoriginalreleaseprobablycvameoutinlate56/early57.Wehavepimpeduptheorigi-
naltracklistingwithGonnaBackUpBaby,andWellIKnockedBimBam(bothfrom1956)whichwereonlyavailableas45swayback
then. The original ten inch LP was a knockdown of his first LP 'Bluejean Bop', but with a different coloring (more light purple than
baby-blue), but it was no question for us about the coloring of the vinyl: Bluejean blue!
