Dale Robertson
(1923 - 2013) made his name in countless television Westerns
in the 1950s and 60s. He headlined his own series,
'Wells Fargo'
(1957) and
'Iron Horse'
(1966), in which he won a railway in a poker game. In 1952 he co-
hosted (with Ronald Reagan)
'Death Valley Days'
, which had started as a radio
show in the 1930s and was one of the longest running Western series, and he
later appeared in the inaugural season of
'Dynasty'
in 1981.
