Im Februar 1934 hatten die Federación Socia-
lista Asturiana (FSA) und der anarchosynikalisti-
sche Gewerkschaftsverband Unión General de
Trabajadores (UGT) in Asturien die Kampfgemein-
schaft Unión Hermanos Proletarios (UHP) gebil-
det. Sie setzte in den Folgemonaten Revolutions-
komitees an Stelle der bürgerlichen Behörden ein.
Während des blutig niedergeschlagenen Bergar-
beiteraufstands vom Oktober 1934 (siehe bei Nr. 5)
erlebten die Kämpfer ihre erste Feuertaufe. In die-
sen Tagen entstand auch das Lied
Unión Hermanos
Proletarios
. Nach Ausbruch des Bürgerkriegs im
Juli 1936 kämpften zahlreiche UHP-Mitglieder in
den asturischen und katalanischen Volksmilizen,
später in der Volksarmee. – Die vorliegende Auf-
nahme mit Ernst Busch entstand 1936 in Moskau,
siehe bei Nr. 14.
In February 1934 the Federación Socialista Asturi-
ana (FSA) and the anarchosyndicalist Workers’ General
Union (UGT, Unión General de Trabajadores) had
formed the Unión Hermanos Proletarios (UHP) an ac-
tivist group in the province of Asturias. In the follow-
ing months they appointed revolutionary committees
to replace the civilian authorities. During the crush of
the miners’ uprising in October 1934 (see No. 5) the
combatants experienced their first baptism of fire. The
song
Unión Hermanos Proletarios
was written during
those days. After the outbreak of the Civil War in July
1936 many UHP members were fighting in the As-
turian and Catalan popular militias, later in the Popu-
lar Army. – This recording with Ernst Busch was made
in Moscow in 1936, see Track No. 14.
En febrero de 1934, la Federación Socialista Asturiana
(FSA) y la Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT, anarcosin-
dicalista) forman en Asturias la Unión Hermanos Proletarios
(UHP). En los meses que siguen, la UHP instaura comités re-
volucionarios para reemplazar a la administración civil an-
terior. En el campo de batalla, los integrantes de la UHP
viven su "bautismo de fuego" durante la insurrección minera
ferozmente aplastada en octubre 1934 (véase Pista No. 5 en
este CD). En esos días también surge la canción
Unión Her-
manos Proletarios
. Después del inicio de la
Guerra Civil (julio 1936), gran número de
miembros de la UHP combaten en las mi-
licias asturianas y catalanas, luego en el
Ejercito Popular. – Esta grabación con
Ernst Busch fue hecha en Moscú en 1936
(véase Pista No. 14).
Vamos ya tras la senda gloriosa
que el maestro Lenin nos trazó.
