Micha Maass was born and raised in East Berlin. Since the wall fell, he‘s been a million miles on the road with Boogie Blues & Co.
In his 30 years of drumming, he has performined, recorded and toured with artists such as Mojo Buford (Muddy Waters band), Paul Orta, Gene Taylor (Canned Heat, Blasters, Thunder- birds), H-Bomb Ferguson, Teeny Tucker (Tommy Tuckers Daughter), Little Willie Littlefield, Liz Mandeville, Vince Weber and currently Pugsley Buzzard, Crazy Hambones and Michael van Merwyk just to name a few.
He is the founder and artist director of Blue Wave Festival and Blues Camp.
Micha is a member of the Drum School Berlin, Jazz & Blues Award winner in Berlin and three- times German Blues Award Winner in the category Drums/ Percussion.
