Klanglich üppiger, heftig literarisch raffinierter Pop mit einer von Punk abgeleiteten Sensibilität.

Das 1979 veröffentlichte "Ghostown" der Radiators gilt neben den "Astral Weeks" als eine der definitiven irischen Platten. Das Album ist durchdrungen von der Landschaftsproduktion des Bowie/Bolanischen Produzenten Tony Visconti. Ende der 70er Jahre kommend, umfasst es die Ursprünge der Band, aber mit einer heftigen literarischen Neigung, und verweist auf Musik der 50er und 60er Jahre in einem historischen Überblick über das sich wandelnde Irland. Der Sänger und Schriftsteller Philip Chevron entwickelte diese Themen in den Pogues weiter. Diese erweiterte 45-Spur-2CD-Edition umfasst das Originalalbum und alle zugehörigen Singles sowie 28 bisher unveröffentlichte Seiten von Demos, Backing-Track-Mixen und Live-Tracks, die einen Einblick in die Entstehung des Albums geben. Das Heft enthält Beiträge von vielen Fans der Platte, darunter Roddy Doyle.
