Breezy Rodio was in Linsey Alexander’s band for 8 years and appears on all 3 of Linsey’s Delmark releases. He has toured the world starting as sideman to notable Chicago artists but now is doing it as the leader.

Schönes abwechslungsreiches Bluesalbum

Auf der CD Breezy Rodio Sometimes the Blues got me erhält man für sein Geld viel Blues. Insgesamt 17 Titel von 3 Minuten bis 5 Minuten. Im Mittelpunkt steht Breezy Rodio mit starken Guitarensolos und Gesang. Es bleibt aber auch Platz für andere Künstler z.B. für Billy Branch der auf zwei Titeln singt und Harmonika spielt. Es wird Blues in verschiedenen Spielarten geboten. Chicagoblues, Blues mit Bläserbegleitung, angejazzter Blues mit starken Saxophonesolos und eine akkustische Nummer. Schöne CD aus dem Hause Delmark.
