Heart Full of Soul: The Motown Anthology ist die ultimative Sammlung, die dem großen verlorenen Superstar von Motown gewidmet ist. Auf zwei CDs und fast 50 Songs wird Blinky's Motown-Reise mit Songs dokumentiert, die von den größten Talenten des Labels wie Nickolas Ashford und Valerie Simpson, Clay McMurray, Frank Wilson, Hal Davis, Gil Askey, Deke Richards, Jerry Marcellino und Mel Larson, Don Hunter und Stevie Wonder für sie geschrieben und produziert wurden. Die erste Scheibe präsentiert ihr 1970er Album Sunny and Warm zum ersten Mal in kompletter Form, zusammen mit all ihren veröffentlichten Singles sowie Raritäten und Live-Tracks.

Die zweite Scheibe präsentiert über 20 nie zuvor gehörte Aufnahmen, sowohl in Original-Motown-Stereo-Mixen als auch in brandneuen Mixen von Kevin Reeves, die die Tiefe und Breite von Blinky's bemerkenswerter Stimme zeigen. Veröffentlicht mit der vollen Kooperation des Künstlers, wurde Heart Full of Soul: The Motown Anthology vom Team von Joe Marchese und Andrew Skurow produziert und kommentiert (Bobby Darins Go Ahead und Back Up: The Lost Motown Masters, The Supremes' The Ultimate Merry Christmas), und von Kevin Reeves (The Supremes' Expanded Editions) von den Originalbändern gemastert. Das Deluxe-Booklet enthält seltene Fotos und ausführliche Liner Notes, die sich auf ein neues Interview mit Blinky beziehen.
